About Green Goat

We are an ECO-FRIENDLY company that offers an alternative option to traditional lawn care. Customers who reside in the city or who have smaller properties we offer mowing services where we use electric equipment to reduce emmissions that would be released into the atmosphere through the use of gas powered equipment. We are committed to using wind power to charge & power our equipment, which means that we not only won't be adding any harmful gases into the atmosphere, but also that we are not depleting nonrenewable fuel sources. Any energy used to power our equipment using conventional methods is offset by renewble energy that we purchase.

We participate in NStars GREEN program. NStar Green is certified by Green e Energy. 100% of the electricity used by our company is supported by wind power generated from Maple Ridge Wind Farm in upstate New York. We also purchase enough wind power to offset the gas powered vehicles that we drive as well as any gas powered equipment that we use through traditional lawn and shrub / hedge care where electric equipment is not a feasible option.

Because we're Electric, our equipment is noticeably quiet. The Dept. Interior Green Seal Report estimates electric mowers cut noise emissions by 50-70%.

GROW GIANT VEGETABLES

Amend your Vegetable Beds with our mixture of compost, horse manure & peat moss. We pick up everything at the nursery & horse farm, mix it by hand then bring it to you. We put it right into your vegetable & flower beds. This is a great, all natural way to amend depleted, nutrient poor city soils or just overly farmed soil. There is a 1 yard mimimum for customers that are not currently our clients
